The Adani Group has announced an ambitious plan to establish 30 hospitals across India as part of a ₹60,000 crore social investment initiative, marking a major push into healthcare infrastructure development.

The announcement was made by Karan Adani at a leadership summit held in New Delhi on March 13. He outlined the group’s long-term vision to improve access to advanced medical services through large-scale infrastructure expansion.

The proposed hospital network will be developed in phases over the next decade, with facilities planned across multiple regions of the country. The initiative is designed to address existing gaps in healthcare access, particularly in areas where high-quality and specialized medical services remain limited.

This investment forms part of a broader philanthropic commitment announced by Gautam Adani in 2022. While the overall program spans sectors such as education, healthcare has emerged as a central pillar of the group’s social impact strategy.

Speaking at the event, Karan Adani emphasized that healthcare infrastructure is as critical as core sectors like logistics and energy in driving long-term economic and social development. He highlighted the need for sustained investments to meet the growing demand for quality healthcare services across the country.

The initiative will also build on the ongoing work of the Adani Foundation, which has been engaged in healthcare delivery and community outreach programs for nearly three decades. Its efforts have included improving access to primary care, organizing medical camps, and promoting health awareness in underserved regions.

Once implemented, the planned hospital network is expected to significantly enhance the availability of advanced medical care and strengthen healthcare delivery systems nationwide, with a strong focus on accessibility, capacity building, and long-term infrastructure growth.
